The rainy storm

Today the rain fell on me
And I had no umbrella to shield me from my fears
They felt like sleet and hit like hail
Breaking me down as best as they can
Tearing away at me
The clouds got darker
And my outlook looked dimmer
No sun today
As happiness just fades and fades
Hoping for a break
Hoping for some sun
Hoping for it to all go away once and for all
No raincoat could fit
And boots would look silly
On me
Or at least I think so
Trying to be brave
And instead getting wet
The cold hits me so hard
Like a smack to the face
One that leaves a bruise
Cant dance in this
Dont want to sing a tune
Knee deep in this mud
